The stamping process explained

Metal stamping is a process in which metal sheets are fed into a high tonnage press between stamping dies to form and cut metal – essentially delivering competed or part completed components in high volumes at a competitive production cost. We can produce stampings out of almost any alloy – stainless steel, aluminium, copper, titanium and cold rolled steel – and in virtually any shape required.

Stainless steel stamping

Stainless steel looks good and performs well, rarely requiring any post production coating processes to give the stamping the required surface finish.

Low maintenance stainless steel is a popular choice for a wide variety of product applications, including use within the automotive, construction, medical and industrial equipment sectors. Its aesthetics also lend the material to being used for a wide variety of decorative applications, including use within domestic interiors, household appliances and vehicle interior trim.

High volume metal pressing

Our plant and processes are optimised for mid – high volume, close tolerance metal presswork manufacture from progression and transfer presses in gauges which range from 0.30mm up to 5mm. Capacity is available for small production runs and presswork manufacture into the millions. This gives us the ability to fulfil a wide variety of customer requirements extremely efficiently and provides the capacity to meet demanding schedules and volume requirements from customers whose needs are ever-changing.
