HT Brigham Achieve Important Environmental Standard

Having already successfully attained ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 9001:2000, H T Brigham, a Birmingham based metal pressing manufacturer, has now achieved third party registration to the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004.
Achievement of this International Environmental standard is an indication that H T Brigham has conducted a detailed review of the impact its operations have on the environment and has incorporated strategies into its existing management system to reduce these impacts to a practical level.
As a result H T Brigham have taken measures to significantly reduce energy consumption, resource use and pollution to air, water and land, whilst actively encouraging a similar level of environmental performance from its associates.
In addition to the company’s cost savings resulting from these improvements, other beneficiaries from this ethos include the company’s customer base, primarily the automotive industry (where vehicle manufacturers are actively pursuing similar programmes), the local community and the environment as a whole.
