STAINLESS STEEL STAMPINGS

Stainless Steel Stamping Stainless steel looks good and performs well, rarely requiring any post production coating processes to give the component the required surface finish.

Low maintenance stainless steel is a popular choice for a wide variety of product applications, including use within the automotive, construction, medical and industrial equipment sectors. Its aesthetics also lend the material to being used for a wide variety of decorative applications, including use within domestic interiors, household appliances and vehicle interior trim.

There are two main types of stainless steel. Austenitic stainless steel has a particular resistance to corrosion and staining. These qualities mean that it is ideally suited to the manufacture of components which are likely to be subjected to environments which would usually cause material deterioration.

Ferritic stainless steel is a popular choice for the manufacture of components where a bright, aesthetically pleasing finish is required. These combined properties make stainless steel a preferential material choice for the manufacture of components with very specific product requirements.

Why stainless steel stampings? Consider the key advantages:

Stainless steel stampings seldom require post production coating or special treatments to attain the desired finish – this brings additional cost savings.

Stainless steel stampings are high in performance yet low in maintenance, making them viable for components utilised in a wide range of applications.

Different grades of stainless steel can be selected according to the specific end user application.

Although stainless steel can sometimes be a more difficult material to form into a complex component than other types of steel, H T Brigham has the presswork expertise to ensure the top rate manufacture of finished components from this material, using both transfer & progression presswork methods.

This means that we can provide each and every customer with the component they are looking for with no compromise to functionality or finish.
