Rapid prototyping at H T Brigham adds value for customers
The benefits of 3D printing have been widely reported; fast, low-cost and kind to the environment. This rapid prototyping allows working concepts to be ruled in or out more quickly, speeding up the development process and reducing the project lead time as a whole.
Sheet metal pressing is a process in which metal sheets are fed into a high tonnage press between stamping dies to form and cut metal. Force is applied to the material in order to manipulate and form it into the desired profile. By doing so, the sheet can be bent or stretched into a variety of complex component shapes.
At HT Brigham, our plant and processes are optimised for mid to high volume, close tolerance metal pressing manufacture, from progression and transfer presses, in gauges which range from 0.1mm up to 6mm. Capacity is available for presswork manufacture into the millions. This gives us the ability to fulfil a wide range of customer requirements extremely efficiently and provides the capacity to meet demanding schedules from customers whose needs are ever-changing.
We welcome enquiries for the most complex of components, required for critical and precision applications, including surgical devices and automotive parts. We can also produce sheet metal pressings out of almost any alloy – mild steel, HSLA, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass and titanium - and in virtually any shape required.
As a business we strive for customer satisfaction company-wide and aim to build close working relationships with every client to ensure that we deliver. Help and support is readily available across all stages of the production process, from simplifying designs in order to reduce costs, to suggesting improvements which will enhance product functionality, no detail is overlooked.
Our engineers are dedicated to sharing their expertise, enhancing your product’s manufacturability, ensuring component quality and consistency and reducing metal consumption to help lower costs.
HT Brigham’s expert Quality team applies best practice procedures and process control measures across the manufacturing system. Rigorous controls are further enhanced by equally stringent input from our Production team throughout the manufacturing cycle. To give our customers complete confidence, we are accredited to IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality management systems.
